Preparing for #Blogmas 2017

Have you ever heard of blogmas? No? Then let me explain exactly what blogmas is and how I will be taking part in it this year.

What is Blogmas?

Blogmas is when bloggers publish one post per day up until Christmas Day, these are mostly festive themed posts. There is also Vlogmas which is a video diary posted every day up until Christmas.

How will I be participating?

This year I’m setting myself a challenge to post one post per day up until the 1st of January! I will be posting a range of Festive and Non-Festive content and you will be able to find the whole collection here.

Why am I doing Blogmas?

Launching a brand new blog here at The Essence of Red has got me fired up and excited to get some valuable content out for you guys and this gives me the perfect excuse. I also really love Christmas and this year will be the first Christmas I spend with my partner in our own home.

How will I be preparing?

I’ve been putting a list of ideas together which you can browse below, I also started writing some of my posts at the end of November in preparation. I finish university on the 7th of December where I’ll have more time to dedicate to blogmas and hopefully then I’ll be able to write one or more posts a day in order to complete blogmas without missing a day.

      Hey Kiirsten,
Thanks for stopping by, I thought I’d give myself the ultimate challenge, I love Christmas after all and I have plenty to post about.

  4. Great list! I haven’t planned that far in advance, but I have about 40 drafts waiting to be completed anyway, so I might just get on with those this month, sprinkled between the festive posts. I have done a festive post each day so far though. Loving it, it’s so much fun!

      Well done hun!
Sounds like you are basically doing your own version of blogmas at the moment, I’ve got some really exciting posts to put up in the last couple of weeks in December and I’m really looking forward to building my first Gingerbread House.
