Welcome To The Essence Of Red

You might be wondering how you got here, which wrong turning did you take? However, I’m awfully glad you made it and I’m looking forward to sharing my journey with you. I am a professional procrastinator, an experienced stressor and a pretty awful juggler of all things education, work and personal. If you can relate to any one of these things then I think you might be in the right place and I hope you’ll bear with me and stick around for a little while as I have lots of funny stories to share and a lot of useful advice to give. Take a look below to find out a little bit more about me and my brand new blog.

I wear many hats on a day to day basis, I am a twenty-something student, a hospitality manager, a partner and a friend. I moved away from home to study and I currently live in a coastal area which makes for some beautiful photos which I’ll be happy to share with you.

I’ve always written and I’ve had several blogs over the last few years but I’m making The Essence Of Red a bit different, I’m taking blogging way back to the good old days when it was mostly people writing about their lives, not thinking it would ever go anywhere. The Essence of Red is my outlet and this is my story…

      Hey Alice,
Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment! I can’t wait to get more posts up for you to read, there’s so much to write about at the moment, I’m moving house, I’m finishing up my degree and my partner and I are planning to get ourselves a new edition to our little family. Hope to see you around soon!

I love that you say all of this. It seems like so many people are trying to blog to get free things instead of just the love of writing and sharing ideas.
